My wife and I wanted to personally thank you for the outstanding job your employees did in moving our daughter from Roanoke to Abingdon, VA on December 19, 2013. During the economic crisis we have been experiencing there has been several local and state to state moves necessary to keep a job or obtain better living conditions in our family. Growth

Our success as a moving company is founded on our strong history. The story of Heritage Moving & Storage Inc. continues with the growth of Cook Transfer.

I had a strong desire to grow and stimulate the business, and within a year or two of purchasing Cook Transfer, we nearly tripled its size. Over the next few years, I started a company called Moving Systems, a local-moving and office-moving company. I also started a company called Moving Systems Forwarders, a long-distance and overseas shipping and warehousing operation.

All the companies worked together and played a part in different types of transportation. At the height of these companies, we had 80,000-100,000 square feet of warehousing space, and we were running 70-80 trucks. It was an exciting time as we branched out into new areas and built and grew the business.

This experience is what makes us second to none in Southwest Virginia when it comes to moving. We are proud to offer our customers in Vinton, Salem, Blacksburg, Troutville, Daleville, Botetourt County, Boones Mill, Smith Mountain Lake, and other Southwest Virginia communities the very best in full-service moving. Let us manage your local or long-distance move, office move, packing, and/or storage!
